Welcome to my first blog entry! This is something I have been debating for a while, of course I have plenty to talk about, but will anyone be interested?! I'm taking the leap, I'm turning to a new chapter in life and I feel I should share my journey! 3 1/2 years ago I found myself in a whirlwind of events, I had just turned 21 and the next day I lost my husband. I was a widow at 21, no job, and my late husbands family turned there backs on me! Fortunately for me, I have always been blessed with wonderful parents that are always there to catch me when I fall! My parents set me back on my feet and I was determined to persevere... I did! I found a job perfect for me in the city, only problem is that I was drowning my pain in very unhealthy ways. A few months later a soldier walked up my driveway, an old friend, he was home on leave. I quickly fell for the hero that could sweep me off my feet. After a couple of dates, we had a surprise, I was pregnant! God knew exactly what he was doing when He blessed me with a child, it took that gift for me to open my eyes to the fact that I still had life to live and so much to give! I married that soldier in December of 2008, he deployed for Iraq February 3rd, 2009. The Princess made her grand entrance February 24th. The soldier was not present for her birth and was deployed for the next year, but I had my Mom/Best Friend and my Best Friend by my side! After an amazing year of becoming a Mommy, the soldier and I fell in and out of "love"!
Present: I am now going through the BIG D. The Princess and I are on our own again! I recently received an amazing promotion, so I'm working hard! I also sell Vintage Couture, formerly My Vintage Baby.
I'm here to share my drama to somehow let someone else know they are not alone; review- I love trying new things and I love to tell people what I love; share ideas.
So stay tuned as this Queen moves on with my head held high and shares the best part... life with my Princess.
