Office Diaper Bash!!
My friend/co-worker was blessed with another girl, so she already had everything she needed! The ladies at the office decided to host a Diaper Bash! Since it was a Diaper Bash and a box of diapers is just so boring, I decided to make a diaper cake to match the theme... Hot PINK and Black!
Ta-Da! My first Diaper Cake! I never realized that this is relatively easy!
I first rolled the diapers with Goody clear hair bands (I forgot to purchase rubber bands!) My friend uses Luv's so I purchased a size 1, 50 came in the pack. I rolled each one!
My next step was figuring out how to hold them in a nice circle! Back to my hair accessories! I used elastic headbands to creat the circles! Yay for recycling! I had plenty diapers leftover, but I was happy with the size!
For the base, I used the top of a copy paper box from the office and cut in a circle!
Then the fun part, decorating with the things I already had! I often purchase more than I need at Hobby Lobby so I always have extra! I just used tulle and ribbon around the diapers and topped it off with feathers and a blingy zebra flower!! I also made a bow and clipped it on so that she can use it in the babies hair!
I found these cute little metal buckets at Target in the Dollar section, you never know when they will come in handy! (For the Princess' party, I put candy in them!) The "candy" are little wash clothes that I rolled together, Placed in a clear bag and placed tulle around the top! I love the way they came out!
Cupcakes!!
Of course, I did not make the cupcakes, another lady at the office did, but I made the toppers!
I made these myself on a Print Shop program, I was so excited! The pinks came out different because our giant printers are awful, but they still looked great! I used my famous 2" punch and glued one to each side of a tooth pick!
I gave the cupcake lady the idea to try making a giant cupcake and she's so amazing, she made it without the cupcake mold that I had used previoiusly!
If you are interested in the Cupcake Toppers, I will be glad to personalize for you!
